About the activity

Random Fairytales is a version of broken telephone with sentences and drawings. From each sentence created at the beginning a tale will be fabricated. Between the funny sentences and commentary while drawing and the ridiculous stories at the end lots of laughs should ensue.

Good to know

  • No one has to be good at drawing to play this game. Sometimes the worse drawings make the best sentences!
  • If anyone is lagging behind, you can create some fun pressure on them to move on to the next round.

How it works

STEP 1

You’ll get two words. From these words come up with a sentence. Everyone else will do the same.

STEP 2

Next, you’ll receive someone else’s sentence and will have to draw it.

STEP 3

You’ll then receive someone else’s drawing and will have to guess the sentence behind it.

STEP 4

Step 2 and 3 repeat for a few rounds, until all storyboards (one for each participant) are completed and showed at the end.
